How to become a WFSJ partner



Associate Partners


Organizations that share the goals of the World Federation of Science Journalists – improve the quality of science reporting, support science and technology journalists, and promote the role of science journalists as key players in civil society and democracy – can become Associate Partner of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ).

Essentially, an organization becomes an Associate Partner to show support for the World Federation of Science Journalists. Associate Partners must pay a membership fee, as set by the WFSJ Board. They can participate in the General Assembly, but cannot vote. Only regular members, associations of science journalists and communicators, can vote.

The logo of Associate Partners will be displayed on the web site of the World Federation of Science Journalists. An Associate Member enjoys the following benefits and has the following obligations:

Benefits:
  • the logo of the Associate Partner is visible on the WFSJ web site;
  • an Associate Partner can participate in the deliberations of the General Assembly of WFSJ. Associate Partners are invited to the General Assembly and can include items on the agenda and participate in the deliberations, but cannot vote;
  • an Associate Partner is kept informed of the activities of the Federation and receives copies of the WFSJ publications.
Obligations:
  • pay the annual associate member fee as set by the WFSJ Board; and
  • provide an official logo.

Corporate Partners

Corporations and private companies that are interested in supporting the World Federation of Science Journalists can become Corporate Partners of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ).

Essentially, a company becomes a Corporate Partner to show support for the World Federation of Science Journalists. Corporate Partners must pay a membership fee, as set by the WFSJ Board. They can participate in the General Assembly, but cannot vote. Only regular members, associations of science journalists and communicators, can vote.

The logo of Corporate Partners will be displayed on the web site of the World Federation of Science Journalists. A Corporate Member enjoys the following benefits and has the following obligations:

Benefits:
  • the logo of the Corporate Partner is visible on the WFSJ web site;
