Nearly two hundred proposals for WCSJ 2013 dream sessions!

The deadline for submissions to the 8th World Conference of Science Journalists in 2013, Helsinki has now passed.

Thank you all for your submissions.

We have had an overwhelming response with nearly two hundred proposals for WCSJ 2013 dream sessions proposals coming from 42 countries in all continents.

The first lovely impression is that people really put their heart to the making of these “dream session proposals”.

The proposed topics for seminars, plenaries and workshops run from cutting edge seminars of data sourcing journalism to digital media and the more traditional best sellers of all science writers conferences: how to proceed from hard research facts to an interesting story.

More information will be available soon, as the Programme Committee is now reviewing each proposal and we will be in touch with those of you who have left their proposal.
