HITS Journalist in Residence is Open Now. Deadline to Apply 15 September 2015!

A unique opportunity for experienced journalists interested in science, mathematics, and computer science

The Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) is a basic research institute promoting data-driven science. 120 scientists from 22 countries are working in research fields from molecular biology to astrophysics – working with mathematical methods and computer science tools. 

HITS has started the “Journalist in Residence” program 4 years ago. It offers a paid 3-6 months´stay (5000 Euros per month) for experienced science journalists interested in Big Data. Up to now, four journalists from the U.S., Spain, and Germany have been at HITS.
