2008 Knight Salzburg Innovation Fellowship

Print, Radio, TV, Fellowships and Awards, Specialized Reporting, Innovation Senior journalists and editors covering innovation are invited to apply for the 2008 Knight Salzburg Innovation Fellowship. Part of the Salzburg Media Initiative supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the fellowship is awarded to a full-time mid-career professional covering innovation for established print, broadcast, or web media.

The successful applicant will be invited to the Salzburg Global Seminar, April 13-18, 2008, for the session "Innovation in Knowledge-based Economies: Accelerating the Benefits", a gathering of leading minds in the field to develop models for economically-viable innovation system in the knowledge-based economy.

The Knight-Salzburg Innovation Fellowship covers program fees, travel and accommodation in Salzburg. The nominee will contribute one session-related editorial product to the Seminar website and benefit from access to the Seminar's network of the more than 27,000 alumni around the world.
